Cima Grove. A modern development drawing inspiration from the mid-century modern home brought to you by Vertu Development in conjunction with Michael Hsu Design. The concept was founded by Tarek Morshed and Russ Becker of Vertu Development.
The unique tract with its specimen trees inspired visions of homes tucked around the canopy of trees. Concurrently, homes in the Delwood area prompted the idea of bringing to the Austin market something unique even within the modern realm, the modern-day version of the 50's ranch-style and mid-century home. The two concepts were married into a commitment to create stylish ranch-style residences that were affordably priced in the new construction landscape of Central Austin. The design journey began and ended with the choosing of Hsu Design Office. Heavy ideation sessions, plans and elevations later, Cima Grove arrived.
Cima Grove will be 17 units on a tree shaded 2.5 acres in Delwood, just north of Mueller. Homes will marry mid-century motifs like courtyards, Roman brick, slatted wood features and clerestory windows with today's modern needs and desires. Other features include museum-finish walls, tray ceilings, recessed lighting, solid-surface counters and green building features such as tankless water heaters and being solar-ready.
Location: Minutes from Bartholomew Park, Mueller and 10 minutes to the heart of downtown Austin.
